What is the MRCEM Primary pass mark?
There is no fixed pass mark. RCEM sets it for each sitting with the Angoff method; in RCEM's worked example it was 107.1 out of 180, about 60%. In 2024, 57.4% of candidates passed.
Is MRCEMStat free?
You can try 50 questions with full explanations free, with no card. Every topic page also has free sample questions with answers. The full bank and the mock exams need a 3-month (₹1,999) or 6-month (₹2,999) plan.

Do 20 questions a day and read every explanation, especially the highlights. That covers the whole bank in about 188 days. Finish with the timed mock exams.
Does MRCEMStat have spaced repetition?
Yes, a tuned SM-2 engine. A question you get wrong comes back the same day; when you get one right you rate it Hard (back in 1 day), Medium (3 days) or Easy (graduates and leaves your revision). It is automatic: no flashcards to make.
Is MRCEMStat official?
No. MRCEMStat is independent and run by EmAstra. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
